Arun Bansal became Indiana Chapter president with a clear mission: make Hindi accessible to every Indian-American family in Indiana. "Language is identity. When our children speak Hindi, they stay connected to their grandparents, their homeland, and thousands of years of civilization," he says. Bansal's chapter has partnered with three school districts to offer after-school Hindi programs.
